We are seeking dynamic, doctorally prepared adjunct faculty to teach fully online didactic and practicum courses in our nationally recognized graduate nursing programs. Responsibilities

  • Inspire and educate graduate nursing students in both didactic and practicum courses.
  • Collaborate with Program Coordinators and Clinical Coordinators to design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences.
  • Promote critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and professional growth through innovative teaching and mentorship.
  • Provide timely, constructive, and supportive feedback to help students thrive academically and professionally.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence by modeling professional standards of nursing education and practice.
Requirements

 Education

  • Nurse Practitioner Specialties (AGACNP, FNP, PMHNP): Doctorate degree with a concentration in nursing and current national certification in the respective specialty area.
  • Core Graduate Nursing Courses (non-NP specific): Master’s degree in nursing required; doctorate degree strongly preferred. Applicants without a nurse practitioner degree may be considered for core didactic courses.
  • Masters in Nursing Informatics: Master’s degree in nursing required; doctorate degree strongly preferred. Applicants without a nurse practitioner degree may be considered for core didactic courses.

Certification

  • Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (AGACNP, FNP, PMHNP).

Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced practice nursing and graduate-level teaching.
  • Prior online teaching experience is strongly preferred, with evidence of success in student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • A record of professional practice, scholarship, or leadership that enriches nursing education.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills with a passion for supporting student success in the online environment.

Licensure 

  • Current, unencumbered APRN licensure with eligibility to practice in PA, LA, TN, GA).
  • Candidates must hold or be able to obtain required state licensure in order to support practicum placements.
