A physical therapy practice based in Washington is seeking a full-time Medical Virtual Assistant to support its front desk and patient coordination functions. Reception & Patient Coordination
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Manage and update the appointment calendar
Handle cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduling
Support the front desk by coordinating patient flow and administrative tasks
New Patient Onboarding
Guide new patients through the onboarding process
Collect and verify patient information and intake forms
Ensure adherence to clinicβs onboarding standards and procedures
Referral Management
Process and track incoming referrals from other healthcare providers
Maintain accurate records in the clinicβs system
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely follow-up
Administrative Support
Maintain and update electronic medical records
Prepare documentation and assist with email management
Follow standard workflows and clinic procedures
Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
Coordinate telehealth appointments as needed

At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical administrative role (virtual experience preferred)

Friendly, professional, and responsive in all patient interactions
