Virtual Rockstar is hiring a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Virtual Assistant to support a highly respected physical therapy practice based in Alaska. This is a full-time, long-term remote opportunity for someone experienced in healthcare administration, insurance coordination, and patient communication.

You will begin with tasks focused on insurance verification and data entry, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as you grow in the role.
Initial Tasks:
Conduct insurance verification phone calls and complete documentation forms
Enter data into the clinic’s internal systems (Prompt, Excel)
Scan and upload completed forms to patient charts
Future Responsibilities:
Prepare, submit, and follow up on pre-authorizations
Track authorization statuses and update systems accordingly
Assist with data entry and documentation for the billing and scheduling teams
Communicate with insurance providers and patients as needed

Note: Dual monitors and access to a printer with scanner functionality are required.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Prior experience with insurance verification, authorizations, or medical admin work
Tech-comfortable and organized, with attention to accuracy
Willingness to learn new systems and follow defined processes
Team player who values kindness, integrity, and continuous growth
Ability to work full-time Alaska Standard Time hours
