Our client, a growing physical therapy practice based in South Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Medical VA to support their administrative, billing, and patient coordination functions. Responsibilities
Patient Coordination & Front Desk Support
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Manage calendars and coordinate therapy sessions
Respond to inquiries via phone and email
Organize telehealth sessions and post-session follow-up
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
Billing & Insurance
Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
Enter billing information from EMR into AMD software
Submit insurance claims and post payments
Use SwipeSimple for payment collection
Assist patients with insurance-related questions
CRM & Lead Management
Monitor and respond to new patient leads via GoHighLevel CRM
Convert inquiries into scheduled evaluations (Speed to Lead)
Manage CRM follow-ups, especially during U.S. off-hours
Administrative Support
Monitor and manage email correspondence
Prepare and organize documentation
Track referrals and maintain a patient waitlist
Conduct patient feedback follow-ups

AMD (Billing Software)
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical VA or in a similar healthcare admin role
Familiarity with insurance verification, authorizations, and billing procedures
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with CRM tools (GoHighLevel preferred)
High level of reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple systems
