Role Overview
We’re seeking a contract-based Biomarker-Focused Nurse Practitioner (1099) to support our lab-only performance health product. In this role, you will interpret diagnostic results to provide high-impact, data-driven guidance to active members seeking to optimize fueling, recovery, and longevity. Working closely with a Registered Dietitian, you will help turn complex biomarker data into clear, actionable strategies that enhance performance and health outcomes.
This is a remote, flexible, and scalable opportunity tailored for clinicians who thrive on delivering thoughtful, precision-driven care with a performance mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret Biomarker, Lab Results, and DEXA scans: Analyze member lab panels to identify trends and abnormalities that impact health, performance, and recovery.
- Deliver Personalized Recommendations: Provide clear, evidence-based guidance that complements fueling strategies and performance plans developed by our Registered Dietitian.
- Collaborate Closely with RD: Co-manage member cases to ensure aligned and integrated recommendations rooted in nutrition and clinical insights.
- Optimize Health with Data: Use diagnostics such as bloodwork, metabolic labs, hormone panels, and micronutrient status to inform strategic care guidance.
- Provide Asynchronous Member Feedback: Deliver written or video-recorded insights as needed; no live visits unless required.
- Contribute to Clinical Systems: Help refine protocols and care pathways that scale with Eternal’s lab-based offering.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Remain informed on the latest research in biomarkers, sports medicine, preventive health, and performance optimization.
Ideal Clinical Profile
- Clinical Background: Minimum of 4+ years post-residency experience in a relevant field (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Sports Medicine, or similar).
- Licensed: Active NP License in NY
- Lab-Savvy: Demonstrated expertise interpreting blood biomarkers for performance, longevity, or health optimization.
- Performance-Minded: Deep understanding of the physiology of athletes and active populations.
- Collaborative: Comfortable co-managing care with dietitians and other wellness professionals.
- Precision-Oriented: Excels at drawing nuanced insights from lab data to make practical, high-impact recommendations.
- Efficient Communicator: Skilled at translating complex findings into accessible, actionable information for members.
- Innovative Contributor: Brings creative ideas to improve workflows, engagement, and clinical efficacy.

Contract Terms
- Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor with potential to go Full-Time

- Compensation: Competitive per-member or per-assessment rates, based on experience and volume.
$65 - $75 an hour
