Prior Authorization Nurse
Correctional Health Partners (CHP) specializes in customized third-party administrative (TPA) services. We are looking for a Prior Authorization Nurse to use clinical judgement and critical thinking as part of a comprehensive program to assist the CHP Care Management team and clients in their efforts to provide appropriate and efficient quality care to their patients. The Prior Authorization Nurse is responsible for clinical review of requests for health care services.
Qualifications (Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN; may be waived for an individual who has an RN or LPN licensure
- Three to five years of clinical nursing experience.
- Prior correctional clinical experience preferred.
- Previous utilization management, case management, or discharge planning experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license for the state of practice.

Salary Range: $39.00 - $41.00 Hour
