Virtual Health Provider - Nurse Practitioner

SUMMARY: 

The Virtual Health Provider delivers professional, patient-focused virtual care for adult men and women seeking support in areas such as weight management, peptide therapy, and SP.

This role combines clinical expertise with patient education to build individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that improve overall wellness and quality of life. The ideal Provider believes in the impact of Apollo Virtual Health’s treatment options and is motivated to help patients achieve real, lasting results.

Success depends on the ability to confidently discuss treatment options, educate patients on benefits, and prescribe appropriate products that align with their goals. Providers play an integral role in growing this innovative virtual platform by building trust, promoting adherence, and celebrating patient success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct virtual consultations efficiently, providing professional and compassionate patient care.
• Evaluate patient health history, current concerns, and goals to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and prescribe appropriate medications or therapies within the scope of practice.
• Educate patients on available treatment options, including peptide therapy, sexual wellness, and weight management programs.
• Confidently guide patients through their care plan options, helping them understand the health and financial aspects of each choice.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations teams to support patient engagement, adherence, and overall program growth.
• Monitor treatment progress, follow up as needed, and make adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR and ensure compliance with all privacy and safety regulations.
• Continuously build product knowledge and stay informed on new therapies, trends, and technologies in the wellness and performance space.
• Support a culture of patient success by celebrating milestones and encouraging long-term wellness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree (MA/MSN) or equivalent; four to ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in 10 or more states, ideally including the following states: Kansas, Utah, Florida, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Arizona, Michigan, Montana, Colorado, Georgia and New Mexico (additional states a plus).
• Strong understanding of wellness-based care, including weight loss, sexual health, and peptide therapies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to establish trust and effectively educate patients in a virtual environment.
• Technologically proficient—comfortable with EMR systems, CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and telehealth platforms.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered virtual setting.
• Continuous learner with interest in emerging therapies and evidence-based wellness solutions.
