Medical Virtual Assistant - Billing Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management and anesthesia billing, with expertise in handling Out-of-network (OON) billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of pain management and anesthesia coding and documentation requirements (preffered).
• Navigate and proficiently handle Out-of-network billing procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing-related inquiries.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, coding changes, and reimbursement guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Medical Billing (US)
• Proven experience in pain management and anesthesia billing is a plus
• Proficiency in Out-of-network billing processes.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing software, and reimbursement procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Willing to undergo 3-week training for free.
