Job Title: Medical Virtual Assistant

Location: TaskProof Davao City Office

We are hiring Medical Virtual Assistants for the following positions:

1. Front Office/Medical Secretary/Medical Receptionist
2. BNE - Benefits and Eligibility Department
3. Pharmacy/Refills Department
4. Contract and Credentialing Department
5. Medical Biller (Billing and Claims)

Key Responsibilities for Each Position:

1. Front Office/Medical Secretary/Medical Receptionist:

   • Manage appointment setting and scheduling for patients.
   • Handle incoming patient inquiries and initial information intake.
   • Perform call forwarding and receptionist duties.
   • Organize and manage electronic medical records and patient files.

2. BNE (Benefits and Eligibility Department):

   • Verify patient benefits and insurance coverage.
   • Calculate and communicate patients' financial responsibility.
   • Ensure all patient insurance information is up-to-date and accurate.

3. Pharmacy/Refills Department:

   • Manage refill and prescription (Rx) intake from patients.
   • Verify prescription eligibility for patients.
   • Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely processing of refills.

4. Contract and Credentialing Department:

   • Verify insurance contract participation (both Out of Network (OON) and In-Network (INN)).
   • Request fee schedules and negotiate fee increases for OON and INN providers.
   • Handle updates to provider demographics, office locations, and insurance participation details.

5. Medical Biller (Billing and Claims):

   • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) tracking and follow-up on unpaid claims.
   • Submit superbills and claims to insurance companies.
   • File appeals for denied claims and track the status.
   • Post payments, manage patient charges, and generate monthly revenue reports.
   • Validate and address claim denials, ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Salary: Php 20,000 to Php 30,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
