This is a fully remote full-time (9-month) ranked faculty position in the Husson University School of Nursing as an MSN faculty member and PMHNP track coordinator. A stipend will be given for coordination for the summer semester to provide consistent track supervision. The faculty member will have administrative oversight of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) track within the MSN Program. The PMHNP Track Coordinator collaborates with the MSN Director, Chief Nurse Administrator, faculty, preceptors, other MSN track coordinators, the online Division, and the graduate clinical coordinator to ensure academic and nurse practitioner practice standards are maintained within the track. Participation in program accreditation evaluation processes and program activities such as graduation and pinning ceremonies may require the track coordinator to come to campus. The primary responsibilities of this position include teaching and developing online courses within the PMHNP track and MSN core curriculum and fulfilling faculty expectations for participation in departmental service and appropriate scholarship.
This position is a remote within the School of Nursing. There may be required activities that the PMHNP track coordinator may be required to attend on campus events up to two times annually.
Teaching:
Teaching responsibility for eighteen credit hours per calendar year within the PMHNP area of specialty. A course release of one course will be given to allow time for track supervision.
