Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, recent hospital experience, and the ability to manage a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Provide direct bedside care to pre- and post-operative patients
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or adverse reactions
- Assist in discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to nursing standards, protocols, and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital
- Recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active New York State RN License
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- AHA ACLS Certification (may be required based on unit)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (or higher)
