Virtual Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Health – ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC – Texas, USA
ProgressiveHealth is expanding its partnership with H-E-B and is seeking a full-time Virtual Nurse Practitioner to provide telehealth-based occupational health services to H-E-B distribution center employees across Texas.
This role is fully remote and will support multiple Texas locations through virtual consultation, triage, and occupational health services. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative, forward-thinking care model focused on accessibility, injury prevention, and employee wellness.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Provide telehealth-based occupational health evaluations for work-related injuries, acute concerns, and employee health needs across multiple Texas H-E-B distribution centers
- Deliver virtual triage and clinical decision support to onsite NPs, EMTs, and safety teams
- Support timely return-to-work determinations and injury management planning
- Collaborate closely with onsite clinical staff and operational leaders to promote workforce health and injury prevention
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely documentation within the EMR
- Participate in development and refinement of virtual care workflows and occupational health protocols
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts as ProgressiveHealth expands its virtual occupational health model

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner in state of practice locationâ¯
- Not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction
- Has never been excluded, suspended, or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third-party payor, nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals, parties, or specially designated nationals list as debarred, excluded, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances, a valid DEA license is required.
