Job Description
Description: We're partnering with a large health system to add 2 Epic Cadence Business Systems Analysts to their patient access technology team. These analysts will support optimization work on scheduling and template functionality, including a focus on ortho/sleep module builds, partnering with internal Epic builders to turn business requirements into system solutions and help stabilize access operations.Responsibilities/skills:
- Analyze and prioritize backlogged tickets, translating business requirements into clear build specs for Epic builders
- Partner with operations stakeholders to design and refine templates, decision trees, and direct scheduling workflows
- Facilitate requirements-gathering meetings and workgroups with both clinical/operational and technical teams
- Support stabilization of access logs and monitor project outcomes through data analysis
- Document build standards and communicate recommendations, updates, and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
- Epic Cadence certification or demonstrated proficiency
- Template build/design experience with the ability to translate requirements for technical builders
- Operations experience in healthcare scheduling or patient access workflows
- Appointment Entry Decision Tree experience (Epic Decision Tree Badge preferred) and familiarity with Direct Scheduling
- Strong meeting facilitation skills and Change Management/Lean experience
