About the Position

Primary Care Providers are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. They work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing telemedicine consults from a HIPAA-compliant video interface. We are looking for well-spoken professionals that are comfortable with telemedicine. These candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of the endocrine system and pharmacology with a core value to provide quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Delivering inclusive, expert virtual HIV prevention care through scheduled synchronous consultations through our virtual care platform
Providing asynchronous care to ensure timely and continuous support for patients, including ordering labs and diagnostics, interpreting results, prescribing medication, and clinical follow-up
Maintaining accurate, detailed patient records in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, using a wide variety of virtual tools to chart, prescribe, and connect with patients
Driving an outstanding 11/10 star patient experience by serving as a resource for Registered Nurses and working collaboratively with our support teams
Requirements
For Nurse Practitioners
Masters Degree, Post Master's Certificate or Doctorate in Nursing
Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP or another nationally recognized certification
MUST possess active APRN medical licensure in 10+ states
Possess an unrestricted DEA license
Experience working in HIV prevention, sexual health, and/or with the LGBTQ2S+ community
3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice or primary care
Availability and commitment (ideally daily) to complete asynchronous patient care tasks (reviewing labs, prescribing, and providing follow-up communication) in addition to 5–10 hours per week of live consultations. Please note: The number of hours needed may vary based on the needs of the clinic.
Above-average comfort with technology and assisting patients with troubleshooting technical difficulties that may occur in the home environment
